Builder Ben is a service that helps homeowners in the UK compare quotes from local roofing contractors. We are an introduction service only. We do not carry out roofing work and we are not a party to any contract you enter into with a roofer.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and a UK resident to use our service. By submitting an enquiry, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are the homeowner or are authorised to request quotes for the property.
3. Our service
When you submit a request, we share your enquiry with selected local roofers in our network. Those roofers may then contact you directly to provide a quote. You are under no obligation to accept any quote or proceed with any roofer.
4. Use of the website
You agree not to:
- Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to disrupt or compromise the security of the website
- Copy, reproduce, or republish content without our permission
5. Roofers and quotes
While we vet the roofers in our network, we cannot guarantee the quality, pricing, timing, or outcome of any work carried out. Any contract for roofing work is between you and the roofer. You should check credentials, references, insurance, and any guarantees before agreeing to work.
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you may have a 14-day cancellation right when entering into a contract with a roofer at your home. Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 also apply.
6. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Builder Ben is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of our service or from any work carried out by a roofer. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by UK law.
